So still going strong at the gym. went 3 days week 2--- 4 days week 3 and planning on 5 days this week. I have lost 5 pounds so far. not greatly impressive, but its getting better. I am still learning...last week, I read that I should be eating something before I go to the gym, so I did that on Friday and could not believe the difference in my workout, I had so much ENERGY!! I have reached an hour on the elliptical now. today I burned 676 calories in my hour. I am keeping track and burn more and more each day. I do a couple weight machines a week, working my back, abs, arms and legs.
food wise I am doing better, but not perfect, I have yet to have a full week without fast food or some kind of fried food`(damn chicken recipe we LOVE) I am drinking my water, and its pretty amazing how thirsty I am when I don't. snacking wise I have been doing better, cutting back on my beloved popcorn...making fruit smoothies with Erica (she LOVES them) and eating more hard boiled eggs as snacks, all of which have really kept me full. also, fat free chocolate pudding with lite cool whip has just about curbed my chocolate cravings.
so I am still trucking....
