
so last week I only got to the gym 2 times, it was a busy week, and I just didn't do it. i did though, drink my water daily...and watched what i ate. I cut way back on my nightly popcorn. i am thinking the salt is a huge obstacle for me.
i did have some birthday cake for Cassidy's birthday. and ate more then usual on superbowl sunday, but I was down 2 pounds this week, so am pretty excited.
i went to the gym this morning. and yesterday i read that interval training burnes alot of calories, so i programed the elliptical for 45 minutes of interval training....well 10 minutes later i thought i was dying! my lungs were burning so bad!! lol i set my goal of finishing 30 minutes and stuck in there, when it got to 25 minutes i checked my calories burned button and was shocked to see almost 400 calories burned. this gave me the incentive to go for the entire 45 minutes, and guess what i DID IT!! i ended up burning 595 calories in 45 minutes. not bad considering it was my first time trying this and also last week, i burned 676 on the elliptical in an hour. it would be great to add this to my workout 2x a week when i am planning on doing 15 minutes of weight training after my cardio workout.
keeping it going. down 7 pounds in 4 weeks...not too bad hopefully will be down alost 30 by the time softball starts. thats my goal, and would be a huge accomplishment for me. last year i got down 19 pounds in 3 months and then hit a platuea and quit trying. i won't do that this year. i refuse to quit. i am sick of quitting this battle to lose weight and be the person i feel i am inside, but not on the outside. I can do it!!
