Survivor:Samoa

Wow, last night episode was so fantastic I decided to write about it this morning. There is always a new twist, and crazy contestant, an amazing move, and fantastic game play. Last nights show was one of the best I have ever seen, I have watched every single season, and almost every single episode, and into its 19th season, this game will never get old to me.

I always root for the guy/gal who tells the truth, the hard worker, the one who gets the leadership role because it comes natural to them not because he says he is the leader. The ones who fly under the radar and stir up trouble I usually don't like. Russell is a snake, he causes trouble, he stirs things up, he promises everyone final 2, he works hard at camp to make sure there is tension. Like dumping everyones water and burning Jaison's socks. I haven't liked him from the beginning, but after last night, he changed everything, and can't dislike him any longer, and I am now rooting for this guy to win it all.

Day 22 starts off with Natalie in the woods, she sees a rat and after telling the little guy how sorry she is, she proceeded to whack in with a stick, and took it back to camp to eat. Everyone at camp were pretty much shocked she pulled this off, then skinned the little guy, roasted him over the fire and said "tastes like chicken!"

The reward challenge was pretty close, the winning team being Shambo, Dave, Kelly, Monica and John. The reward took them to a place where there was crystal clear water, and natural rock water slides, and also dining on fried chicken, fruits and chocolate desserts. They also received a clue that the played immunity idol was back in play, and hidden back at camp. They then decided not to tell the former Foa Foa members of this clue, so Galu members had a better chance of finding it.

Little did they know that back at camp, Russel was already on the hunt. He knows this game inside and out, he already found and played the other individual immunity idol on his own without any clues, and figures he might as well look around while he has a chance. After looking under rocks, digging around camp, around tree mail area, and then under the bridge...Russel finds the 2nd Immunity Idol! AMAZING,..seriously?!?! this guy is fantastic! For real!

With the Immunity idol safely in his back pocket, Russel and Shambo strategies to get Laura voted out. The agree she is next to go, and then head off to the immunity challenge. The immunity challenge proved a little easy for Laura and she just ended up with the necklace, to the dismay of Russell and Shambo...so they hatched another plan. Russell, Mick, Jaison, and Natalie vote for Kelly, Laura's closest friend, and when the rest of them vote Russell, he plays the Idol and Kelly goes home. Mick, Jaison, and Natalie are shocked to learn Russell has the idol again, and their spirits are up, knowing they have a chance at this game since they are aligned with Russell. As Galu was strategies, Monica piped in...what if Russell already found the idol? he did it before, he could have again...Dave quickly dismissed this crazy idea of coarse, its just not possible, he doesn't know its out there, we are voting for Russell, he is the biggest threat, and needs to go.

Tribal council has never seen such surprised faces....everyone places their votes, Mick is looking like the cat the ate the canary, and Russell just can't help but smile. Jeff Probst is definitely shocked when Russell stands up says "I ain't finished playing just yet" and hands him the immunity idol...again. votes for Russell do not count...The faces of Laura, Dave, John, Monica, Kelly, shocked, shocked shocked! votes come in...Russell, Russell, Russell, Russell, Russell, Russell, Russell...Kelly, Kelly, Kelly, Kelly...second member of our jury...Kelly!

Laura was heard saying "he just stirred up a whole lotta hell, is what he did" to a nodding Shambo. Kelly had no idea she was going home, this has had to be the biggest blindside in Survivor history. I'm so rooting for Team Russell to win...another immunity idol will be hidden, and it will be interesting to see if he can Three Peat and find it. Now wouldn't that be amazing?!

Loving my survivor...can't wait til next week! Russell...you the man!

Sad to say with my shift sometimes starting at 7pm(and lasting until 730am,) I wasn't able to get into Survivor this season! What a bummer!
