Book club #2 review

So we had out first get together last night. The book was Girl Interrupted, by Susanna Kaysen. I really liked the book, but liked the movie better, which we ended up watching. The Movie starred Winona Ryder, Angelina Jolie, Brittany Murphy, Whoopie Goldberg, and Jared Leto. Usually its the other way around, the book usually is more detailed and fun, but the movie had more personal things, before and after scenes, and the book stuck with the time she was in there. It's pretty amazing that an 18 year old girl, in 1967, can be admitted into a mental institution for being promiscuous. For ALMOST 2 YEARS! Talk about crazy! wow.



The gals were fun, its so nice to catch up with you gals! Can't wait til the next one:)
