Cup CraZy!

at the Parade last year!
Sooooo the Red Wings are looking fabulous in games 1 and 2...and I'm a little worried...here are the scenario's

1. I would be OK if they win this in 4 games (Thursday) besides the fact they would win it IN Pittsburgh again, and not on home ice. I MAY try to head down to JOE VISION on Thursday to watch on the big screen with more crazy Wings fans. yes I won't be able to eat after midnight, because my C-section is scheduled for 11:30 Friday. Parade would most likely be Monday...which is the day I come home, which means I would miss my first Stanley cup Parade...yes I went with Erica in my belly in '97 I was due July 14th...all was good:)
2. if they win AT HOME game 5 (Saturday)...I will be in the hospital...this is the worst case scenario, since I am a screamer...I swear, I yell at the TV, I freak out if the refs suck...who the hell am I going to high five when we score? the baby?? I sure the hell am not going to make Justin watch it at the hospital on a 5 inch screen! OH this one is stressing me out. It would be nice for them to win it at home, but come one...just not this Saturday PLEASE!!!
3. Game 6 (Tuesday) I am fine with this one also, besides them being on the road. Parade would most likely be Thursday or Friday...I might try to sneak to it, if at all possible.
4. Game 7 (Thursday) I would be stressing out if it goes 7 games, if the Wings play like they have the first 2 games we are going to be done by then. but the only good thing about this would be I would go to the parade, which would probably be Monday the 15th...and take the baby with us, or leave her with Grandma. But last year's spot we were at was perfect and we would go for a couple hours!

I am loving Filppula...he is a little hottie, and has made a huge impact on the playoffs this year. Him and Hossa together are just unreal. He reminds me a bit of Larinov back in the day, he was always involved in great plays, and setting up great goals. Filppula is the same, he has been involved in a lot of great plays and goals during the Playoffs this year.

I am missing Datsyuk. He is usually throwing his little body around in the playoffs and getting into scuffles. I hope he gets to make an appearance in the one of the last games. he's been solid this year, and it would be a shame if he doesn't.

I heard an awesome compliment from Babcock about Lidstrom. He said "if all players were like Nic, we wouldn't need coaches." I love Lidstrom, he seems so calm and put together.

Osgood is looking fantastic, hasn't let in too many crappy goals, Franzen amazes me on rushing the net, he flies by, or muscles his way to the net in such a way, and still has control over the puck. Helm, Abdelkader, Leino, are looking like the hot young prospects that they are...its just so exciting to watch.

Brad Stuart is getting on my nerves, he gives the puck away WAAAAY too much, and seems to dump the puck and not set up plays when he is out there, it drives me crazy...

I also think Malkin should have been suspended for Tuesdays game...rules are rules people!

Well good luck WINGS!!! gotta repeat baby...We want STANLEY!
