Memorial Day

Memorial Day weekend was a good one. We went up north to spend the weekend with family and it was fantastic. The weather was great, it was so nice to relax and spend time together. I read an entire book this weekend and finally got some sun on my pasty white arms and legs.

We celebrated Emma's birthday with the family since all of Justin's mom's side was there, (except his mom) and Emma totally LOVED her cake:) it was fun to watch her devour it. We went and checked out a softball tourney Jeff was playing in, and of coarse had some ice cream, but not at our regular spot. I love hanging out late by the fire and Emma stayed up pretty late Saturday night with us. but we tired her out pretty good the other 2 nights and she went to sleep pretty easy for us. She loved playing with her walker and pushing it back in forth in the grass and enjoyed having alot of room to play. Erica was scarce most of the weekend. We usually only see her when she is hungry or thirsty. She is out riding bikes and catching frogs and having fun with her friends up there she sees every camping trip.

I got some good pictures this weekend, here are a couple of my fav's!

I can't believe she is already a year old. I'm so happy you had your little miracle baby!

Oh, I love nothing more than seeing a baby go to town on their first cake.

and she is enjoying camping, she just pushes her toys around and wears herself out! can't wait to take her to the beach on our next trip...and see her reaction to sand!
