So we went to the Doctor today and we have an average little girl:o)
Emma weighs 14 pounds, and is 24 inches long both in the 50 percentile. She does have a big head still, its in the 75 percentile...I told Emma that I have a big head too...it means we have lots of BRAINS!!!! She was a little crabby tonight since she got 3 shots today...poor baby! its so heartbreaking to see her cry so hard.
I'm flipping out a bit this week. Work has been busy, with lots of things going on. My brothers wedding is this weekend, and I still need to find a dress for Emma. We had some last minute changes to our plans, my mother in law is now going to be watching the kids in the hotel during the reception. I think its going to work out better because I was worried about her giving Grandma a hard time...she really is a spoiled Daddy's girl still. My girls are walking down the aisle before the bride with the brides niece and nephews. Its going to be adorable.I'm so mad I didn't get the dress I saw a month ago, but I didn't plan on Emma being there. It needs to be brown or dark blue...and god forbid I find one! geeez! oh yea and my brother asked me to do a toast at the wedding..so now I am really freaking out! I gotta stand up in front of everyone, and say a few kind words??? oh goodness! which crazy/funny story should I tell?? there are so many I don't know which one to squeeze in there.
oh what the heck...what do you think? which one(s) are appropriate/funny/good enough to add to my speach? (It is mostly a sincere, serious speach, but since he is such a jokester I think I want at least one funny memory in there from our childhood)
1. giving my friend and I garbage bags to slide faster down our stairs with (in the house) and then coming up with a good excuse to tell my Mom why the banaster was ripped out of the wall!
2. calling me at work, pretending he was a customer and told me that he fed his dog a pretzel that he just bought from me, and his dog fell over and died form eating it. (I totally freaked out and almost called my district manager.)
3. sneaking home from college, rearranging all the furniture in the house, and then leaving, freaking my mom out when she came home from work.
4. drawing funny faces on all my New Kids On the Block posters.

Shots suck...Lukas just got his 12 month ones and a flu shot to top it off!!
this was my toast...I ended up not adding a story, and kept it short and sweet, the only thing I messed up was I forgot my glass of wine at my table! I was so mad! plus it helped that Justin came up with me. he settled me down a bit and so did the wine!
