dilemma

So our lease is up on our Dodge truck in a month...what kind of vehicle are we going to get next? We have been discussing the possibilities, but we feel kind of nervous about buying another Dodge, since they are now in bankruptcy. GM we have never owned and they are not doing any better. We think Ford is our best option, and are checking around dealerships this week. With all the bailouts, and government firing the head of GM, its kinda scary thinking about buying a car/truck these days.

Any suggestions or comments anyone? Anyone else worried about buying a certain brand of car? We need something big enough to pull the camper, so a Dodge Ram, or Durango, or a Ford F150 or Expedition. Also, we need enough room for 2 kids:) and the 2 dogs on camping trips. That's why I like the Durango and Expedition...but ultimately, I want to not stress about warranties, repairs? also, cost is an issue...we have always leased, reasons being...we get bored with our vehicles, and also the wear and tear on a truck pulling a camper. Are both Dodge and Ford still leasing? what other options and deals are out there? Are the dealerships going anywhere? its a lot to think about.

Love the Durango...very roomy, almost got one myself once. Currently we both have Chryslers, it just worked out that way. But my heart is always with Ford. Dad worked at Ford for 30 years. Joe's dad worked at Chrysler. It's a toss up. Dodge is out!
