Weird news stories!

I read the news online everyday. I'm addicted. I have come across some pretty weird stories lately and figured I'd share them.

Fort Pierce, Florida:
I know you all have heard of the lady who called 911 over the McNuggets! wow, I also heard on the Radio yesterday the full 911 call. What a nut! The thing that gets me is, as a district manager of a food establishment, is McDonalds didn't just give her, her money back. They were insisting she takes another food item, which she didn't want. That's why she ended up calling 911. yes she should have just called the regular non emergency police number, but hey I think McDonalds was ripping her off. I'd be pissed too!

Washington:
A bus driver punched McGruff in front of a bunch of kids...what was this guy thinking? a 38 year old punched the McGruff, while he is passing out flyer's to kids. The Man, who is being charged with simple assault, told a supervisor that he was trying to be funny...whats so funny about punching a crime fighting dog, who is just trying to take a bite out of crime? What a Bone head!

Omaha Nebraska:
A 20 year old man is being charged with animal cruelty for smoking marijuana with a homemade bong with 6 month old kitten stuffed inside. He said the kitten was "Hyper" and he wanted to calm her down! The contraption she had been stuffed inside was 12 inches by 6 inches. He was released after paying a $400 fine, and faces drug and misdemeanor animal cruelty charges.

Wellington, New Zealand:
Mall blaring Barry Manilow music to deter teens
This one cracks me up. As a Mall rat myself, I can see how this might work. after hearing Christmas music every year the day after Halloween, I can't stand it. it drives me crazy. Barry Manilow in a mall would be awful! this town has some unruly teens they want to not hang out at the mall so much. A group of teens regularly gathers, spreads graffiti, use drugs, get drunk, and intimidate other patrons of the mall. Good luck with this one, I think they need to hire some security or police to get these teens away...

Kettering Ohio:
Women gets ticketed for breastfeeding while driving. OK and not only breastfeeding and driving , she was also talking on her cell phone. whoa! talk about multitasking! A fellow motorist called the non emergency police number and reported seeing her driving with the almost 2 year old practically on the steering wheel, and talking on the phone. He then followed her and gave her license plate number so police could find her. She is was charged with a first-degree misdemeanor of child endangering and minor misdemeanor for unlawfully restraining her child. If convicted of the child endangering charge, She could face up to 180 days in jail and fined between $1,500 and $1,800. If convicted of the unlawful restraint charge, she could be fined up to $150. This is just crazy, who does this? wow
