So usually around this time of year, I am starting my coaching duties with the High school. Try outs and drills inside, figuring out the roster, and all that good stuff. I can't say I miss that yet. Its usually 4 or 5 days a week after work and hard to juggle. I'm sure I'll miss it in a couple weeks when games start. plus the high school girls are so entertaining to be around...never a dull moment!

Erica's Softball sign ups are going on now, I've had a couple of our regular girls' Moms call me about coaching. Telling them no, was kinda funny, "your not coaching?" "ummm no not this year..." "Oh, well...why?" "we're going to be having a baby in June" "REALLY????" yep:) its too funny! hopefully we can get some of the regular girls on the same team this year. I've had about 8 of them for 4 or 5 years now...and really enjoy Erica's age group. Its amazing how much they learn over a season, and also how much they have learned since I started coaching. Its going to be interesting being on the sidelines for the first time since Erica started playing.

My Co-ed Team is just about getting ready to practice about this time too...Games start the end of April. I was going to try to get a women's team together this year, but that's going to have to wait untl next year:) I am aiming to get in good enough shape to play somewhere in August for the fall season. That should give me about 10 weeks after baby to be ready. It will definitely be cutting it close, but is something I asked my Dr about and she said I should be able to, if everything goes smooth and I heal well. We will see...if I can't make softball, Volleyball is my back-up plan to get moving, that starts in September, so I should be ready for that!
