So at my appointment last week, I asked if I get another ultra sound. The Doc said no...unless I run into complications. I said oh man...I keep having this dream that its a boy and they told us at the first ultra sound its a girl...everything is purple and ready for a girl. I sure hope it is! The Doc looks at my chart and said, well the baby did measure small, at the first one, and we kinda guessed on your date. let me go check and see if I can get one approved, to double check the growth and the due date. So leaves and comes back and says ok, you get another one! So Monday we got to see our little GIRL, yes its confirmed! We got to see her little toes and feet, and she was kicking and moving all over the place. She weighs 2lbs 3 oz already. So awesome! she measured good, right on track for the due date. So that hasn't changed.
My glucose test came back high, so I have to go for a three hour test next week. to check for Gestational Diabetes. Every risk factor on there is me. So I wouldn't be surprised. It runs in my family, hell, I was a 10lb 11 oz baby! I was trying to get my baby picture on here, but Brandi and her scanner are slacking! lol I look like a bulldog in my newborn pic...I'll have to post it when I get it scanned. I hope my little girl don't look like me when I was a newborn!
We are also narrowing down the name! It is now down to Emma Reay or Jenna Reay. Reay is a family name, after Justin's Great Grandma Reay. Erica was lucky enough to have a Great Great Grandma around when she was little and she has so many memories with her. Also Uncle Bill's middle name is Reay and his birthday is a couple days before I am due. And I really like Reay as the middle name, it goes great with either choice. My Mom tells me Emma is too similar to Emily, Jenny's daughter, My niece, and if we name her Jenna Reay, the initials would be the same as the boy name we have had picked out since, geez 1990! James Robert. So help me out one more time and vote for which one! I have another name poll! I know its like the 300th one..I'm so indecisive!

so here is what it says for my 27th week of Pregnancy...I LOVE these things!
Your Baby
Baby's lungs and immune system are maturing this week as baby prepares for her grand entrance. If she were born today she would have an 85 percent chance of surviving as her lungs are capable of breathing air (with medical assistance, of course). Other exciting developments:
Baby's done a lot of growing over the past few months. Her length has more than doubled in the past 15 weeks! And that's not the only thing growing—baby's brain tissue and neurons are all developing at a rapid pace. Her brain waves are now firing away just like those of a newborn baby.
Your baby now weighs in at approximately 14½ inches and just over 2 pounds, or about the size of that roast you made last time your in-laws were in town. (OK, the baby is the size of that roast you meant to cook before you decided that ordering Chinese was a much better idea.)
I can't believe we have just around 90 days until baby!!! Whooo Hooooo
