Mall Madness

So once a year at a couple of the Malls we have stores in, they organize something called Mall Madness. The Girls Scouts in the surrounding areas sign up and camp out at the mall. Certain girly stores, food stores, and just general young people stores stay open most of the night, often till 4 or 5am, and The girls can shop, watch movies, DJ's and Karaoke is set up, and different fun stations throughout the mall. Well last night I worked part of the night at one of my stores. We do crazy business, but it takes a certain person to be able to handle it. These are some of the reasons why a grouchy Pregnant lady, such as myself, should NOT have worked last nights event.

Mind you...we had a line of at least 20 people for 3 hours straight...-The Girls who come up talking on their cell phones (to who at 1am?) and don't know what they want to eat.
-The group of girls who don't pay attention to who is next, talk over one another, order as a group and then want everything rang in separate
-The Moms who ask us for Coffee (that we Don't sell) and then are mad that they just stood in a line and they don't want anything
-The 11 year old who screamed MOTHER F'er because she dropped her money on the floor. (she didn't swear and say the F word, but it was SO LOUD)
-The 10 years olds wearing makeup
-The girls who order $4.40 worth of food and give you $4. then look at us weird when we say, ummmm we need another dollar or .40
-The Screamers!
-The ones who don't talk, just point to what they want.
-The girls who have a coupon, orders something that the coupon don't cover, then are upset that we don't take the coupon...would you like to change your order? its OK!

A person can only repeat themselves so many times!! Also explaining the entire menu to every other kid, wow what was I thinking.!?? plus the fact that I am still up tonight, at 1:36, since I couldn't get to sleep last night. I will probably be messed up all week.

As someone **cough cough** who got kicked out of Brownies in the 4th grade...I'm thinking I should avoid these events at all costs. What do you think?

Oh I loved this one Rhonda...Now, I feel the same way you do, I have no patience for pre teen/teen bull shit. Yet then in many vulnerable moments, Amy, Lori and or/ Michelle Jones remind me of the terrors we once were. And I do believe we did all the same shit! I just remember being disruptive as hell wherever we were. Damn, fun times, but embarrassing times if you ponder on it. Yeah, I wouldn't be good at the mall at 1am either...ha ha ha
Love your honesty!
