So a bunch of us girls went out on the town last night and saw New Kids On The Block! I was catching slack all week from my sisters, hubby, and people from work, but back in the day I was so obsessed with them! I'm so glad we went, we had so much fun! And let me tell you, they are GROWN MEN! And they can dance like no tomorrow! We met up at Hoops for dinner, took the shuttle over to the Palace, and I swear it was like walking into a time warp. Girls were wearing all kinds of fluorescent stuff, leg warmers, old school t-shirts, you name it we saw it. There was even a bunch of girls with crimped hair! The New Kids put on a damn good show, the place was packed, and they danced and sang like the good old days. I can't believe it was 20 years ago! My 2 cousins and I saw them at Joe Louis in 1988 I think, or around there anyways, and they were so glad we went last night. Its amazing how I knew EVERY word to every song! its like, ok where was that info stashed in my brain?? it was such a good time, hope they come back in a couple years. I'd definitely go again! also, Natasha Bedingfield opened for them, and she is FANTASTIC! wow what a voice. I didn't realize all the hit songs she has. She was awesome!

I think I skipped over the NKOTB era. Maybe I was sleeping. It is always great to go have a fun night out with the girls though and it looks like you did!

they did surprise me, I didnt think I would have as much fun as I did, and I really didnt think they would dance and sing so good. (my music snob brother is going to make fun of me for this one!but owell, I loved it!)
