my top 10 favorite shows are:
1.90210...I LOVED the original and this remake is really good so far, I love the fact that Kelly and Brenda are in it as their Characters from the past and that Kelly has a kid with...DYLAN!!! whoo hooo how exciting is that? lol I know, I'm pathetic, but I love the fresh faces on this show.
2. Grey's Anatomy...I love that MER and DER are together and I sure hope it stays that way, the new McArmy guy Christina is flirting with, and Alex and Izzy flirting with each other...can't get enough of this show, and just can't miss one
3. Life...This cop drama is diferent and the lead Character Charlie Crews is a little weird, I don't know how I got hooked on this show but I am, great story line about Charlie being in Jail for a crime he didn't commit, and then getting a $5 million settlement and returning to work, as a cop, to find out who framed him.
4. Brothers and Sisters...the cast alone is just amazing, Rob Lowe, Sally Field, Balthazar Getty, Calista Flockhard, the story line has drawn me in since the first episode, plus this family is CRAZY...kinda like every one elses...OK well...mine is:)
5. Survivor Gabon...I never miss a survivor. this years castaways are young, fit, and some of them are really stupid...don't get rid of the young muscles before you win some challenges...damn have you never watched the show before?!?!?
6. ER...this is ER's last season and they started it off by Pratt dying...I think its going to be a tearful one.
7. Biggest loser...I have some catching up to do since i was playing Volleyball on Tuesdays but so far so good, its motivated me to get my ass into the gym.
8. CSI...starts this Thursday, and Warrick was shot in the Finale so I'm anxious to see what plays out, also William Peterson is leaving the show and Laurance Fishborne is joining it so I'm excited about him...Laurence anyways...I can't picture a CSI without Grissom!
9. Desperate Housewives...the 5 year jump has me a little bummed but its been pretty interesting so far, I don't like that Mike and Susan are divorced...I do like that Gabby has kids, but damn... she looks Awful! should be an interesting season
10. The Amazing Race...Love this show and always have, its so cool to see the places they go and how the teams get along with each other, or not! I'm rooting for the Mother/Son team of Dallas and Toni, and the long distance relationship, Aja and Ty...Ty's from the big D..gotta support the local celebs right!

I DVR everything and don't even watch new shows unless they make it another season. I have gotten hooked on so many shows and they were cancelled. Now, if they were cancelled...I just erase them all from the DVR and I didn't even waste my time or get hooked on them only to be crushed!
oh I know, October Road was my FAV last year and it got cancelled...so disappointing!
I would rather be RV'ing.....not dvr'ing...:)
DVR is the best thing EVER. I DVR all the time. I just saw in your comment that October Road was cancelled...DANG! I loved that show.
I haven't ever watched Survivor! ER was my favorite years ago ... but when you said Dr. Pratt died, I was all "Who is he!" It has just been on way to way too long for me! I do love my DVR!!!
Just watched episode 2 of Dirty sexy money... great show. Cliff hangers every night. Donald Sutherland is great as always... Not a huge Lucy Liu fan but she's new this season as well.
Brothers and sisters has Kel & I both hooked, and you're right about Desperate housewives... may have jumped the shark with the fast forward this year.
